The ideal candidate for this role at ONTARIO INC. will have a solid background in data administration and management. The responsibilities will include enforcing data security measures, collaborating with staff to understand data needs, and setting up IT infrastructure to facilitate application access to databases. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for designing and developing databases, establishing policies for network access and data backup, and leading teams in the development and implementation of data policies and standards. The candidate should have knowledge of database software, MS Office, and be accurate, organized, and accountable.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement data security measures to prevent unauthorized access.
  2. Collaborate with staff to understand data requirements, collection, and availability.
  3. Set up IT infrastructure to enable application access to databases.
  4. Design and develop databases to meet business needs.
  5. Establish policies and procedures for network access and data backup.
  6. Lead and coordinate teams in the development and implementation of data policies and standards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience.
  • Strong knowledge of database software.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Ability to work in a sitting position.
  • Accurate, organized, and accountable.
