Job Title: Sales Associate - Customer Service Representative

About the Job:
This role is a great opportunity to join our team at Whitehorse Home Hardware Building Centre as a Sales Associate. As a key member of our sales floor team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and contributing to a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Salary: $45,000 per year, based on 40 hours per week, estimated salary range considering location and industry standards.

Job Description:
We are looking for a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our sales team. As a Sales Associate, you will be working in a fast-paced retail environment, interacting with customers, answering questions, and providing product recommendations. You will also be responsible for operating cash registers, processing transactions, and maintaining inventory levels.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • a high school diploma or equivalent
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of retail sales experience
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work in a team environment
  • physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs), and bend, crouching, kneeling
