Job Title: Executive Chef

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Executive Chef to join The Yellow Chili team. As the leader of our kitchen, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes, ensuring exceptional quality and presentation.

About the Role:

  • Prepare and Cook Meals: Develop and implement new recipes, menus, and cooking techniques to enhance our culinary offerings.
  • Kitchen Management: Supervise kitchen staff, maintain inventory, and ensure a clean and safe working environment.
  • Sourcing and Supply Chain: Source high-quality ingredients, order supplies, and manage the food budget.
  • Culture and Leadership: Foster a positive work culture, train and develop kitchen staff, and promote teamwork and efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year or less in a leadership role, preferably in a restaurant setting
  • Work Environment: Restaurant with a fast-paced kitchen environment
