Executive Chef Team Lead

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Denny's Restaurants. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing kitchen operations, managing staff, and ensuring the highest quality food is served to our guests.
About the RoleThis is a permanent position, working 35 hours per week. The successful candidate will have a strong background in cooking and leadership, with experience in supervising kitchen staff and managing inventory. You will be required to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a clean and organized kitchen.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee kitchen operations, including food preparation, presentation, and service
- Manage and train kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality food is prepared and presented
- Maintain accurate inventory records, ordering supplies as needed, and minimizing waste
- Clean and sanitize kitchen areas, adhering to health and safety standards
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service and high guest satisfaction
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience as a cook or in a related field
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Demonstrated leadership skills, with experience supervising staff
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
