We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Supply Food Services Technician to join our team at the District School Board of Niagara.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting students with the preparation, cooking, and serving of meals while maintaining a high level of cleanliness in the food preparation area. The position also involves the control and handling of cash receipts from the sale of meals and balancing of accounts.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist students with meal preparation and service
  • Maintain a clean and safe food preparation environment
  • Handle cash receipts and balance accounts
  • Work well with students and colleagues
  • Provide excellent customer service

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 education or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of experience in commercial or institutional food preparation and service
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation
  • Valid driver's license and access to a motor vehicle
  • Provision of a satisfactory Police Clearance including a Vulnerable Sector Police Check
