Job Title: Fabrication Specialist - Marine Industry

About Neptunus Yachts International:

We are a leading manufacturer of luxury yachts, and we are currently seeking a skilled Fabrication Specialist to join our team. As a Fabrication Specialist, you will be responsible for fabricating and repairing metal parts and products for our yachts. This is a great opportunity to work with a dynamic team and contribute to the creation of high-quality vessels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret welding process specifications and operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment
• Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals, and processes
• Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications
• Operate brakes, shears, and other metal shaping, straightening, and bending machines
• Determine weldability of materials and operate hoisting and lifting equipment
• Verify accuracy and completeness of data and verify machined parts for conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent education
• Completion of an apprenticeship program in a related trade or possession of a certificate of qualification in a related trade
• Experience in metal fabrication and repair, preferably in the marine industry
• Knowledge of welding techniques, including TIG and MIG welding
• Familiarity with gas welding machines and polishing machines

Working Conditions:

This position requires working in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks and physically demanding conditions. You must be able to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and stand for extended periods. A valid driver's license is also required for transportation purposes.

Compensation:

The estimated salary for this position is between $60,000 and $80,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, you will receive comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
