About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Agent to join our team at Bombardier. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with strategic suppliers worldwide.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead negotiations of complex contractual terms with external suppliers
  • Develop negotiation business strategies
  • Draft contractual agreements in close collaboration with the legal team
  • Prepare business cases and present to procurement management and other stakeholders for approval
  • Ensure contracts are maintained in accordance to our business requirements
  • Support Business Units in the application of contractual remedies against material breaches
  • Coordinate and lead negotiations of any claims with suppliers in support of business unit production issues
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, law, supply chain or equivalent
  • Five to ten years of relevant experience
  • Experience in the aerospace industry and/or manufacturing environment and/or program management, an asset
  • Excellent negotiation skills and experience in project management
  • Detail oriented, focused and committed to meeting deadlines
  • Strong team player, recognized for leadership and innovation
  • High proficiency in French and English (written and spoken)
  • Strong capabilities in operations and financial management
  • Comfortable with complex technical topics and knowledge of legal terminology or interpretation of contracts
  • Familiar with Just-In-Time purchasing logistic, integrated supply chain and lean manufacturing concepts
