About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Laborer to join our team at GILL CONSTRUCTION GROUP INC. as a Construction Worker Assistant. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting our construction team with various tasks, including loading and unloading construction materials, mixing and pouring materials, and assisting with framing houses and building roofs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and Unloading: Load and unload construction materials, such as concrete and asphalt, from trucks and equipment.
  • Mixing and Pouring: Mix and pour materials, such as concrete and asphalt, to prepare for construction projects.
  • Site Preparation: Assist with site preparation, including leveling earth to fine grade specifications and paving and raking asphalt.
  • Debris Removal: Remove rubble and other debris from construction sites.
  • Material Handling: Clean and pile salvaged materials, and assist with other material handling tasks as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Experience: Willingness to train and learn on the job.
  • Language: English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.
  • Work Schedule: 35 hours per week.
