Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Construction Laborer to join our team at City Home Construction Inc. As a Construction Laborer, you will be responsible for assisting in the construction process, including loading and unloading materials, operating heavy equipment, and performing routine maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials
  • Operate mobile and tower cranes to lift, move, position, or place equipment and materials
  • Perform pre-operational inspections
  • Read blueprints to determine work requirements
  • Clean and lubricate cranes
  • Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades
  • Operate pile driving cranes to drive pilings into earth to provide support for buildings and other structures
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt
  • Assist in aligning pipes during pipeline construction
  • Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials
  • Perform routine maintenance work
  • Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
  • Direct traffic at or near construction sites

Requirements:

  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor
  • Good communication skills

Working Conditions:

  • Hours: 30 to 44 hours bi-weekly
