Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Construction Laborer to join our team at Friends Construction Inc. as a key member of our construction crew.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt as required.
  • Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs under the guidance of experienced crew members.
  • Pave and rake asphalt to ensure smooth and even surfaces.
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials for reuse or recycling.
  • Perform routine maintenance work on equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance.
  • Remove rubble and other debris from construction sites to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction, such as cranes and excavators.
Work Environment

As a Construction Laborer, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results. You will be required to work outdoors in various weather conditions and handle heavy loads as part of your daily tasks.

Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Will train on the job to ensure you have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform your duties effectively.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment with regular exposure to dust and other hazardous materials.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills to ensure seamless collaboration with colleagues and supervisors.
  • Availability to work 30 to 40 hours per week, with occasional overtime as required.
  • Fluency in English is required for this role.
