- Authorize the return of merchandise and ensure that all returns are processed in accordance with company policies.
- Establish work schedules and ensure that all employees are aware of their duties and responsibilities.
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to help inform business decisions.
- Resolve issues that may arise, including customer complaints and supply shortages, in a timely and professional manner.
- Organize and maintain inventory levels to ensure that the store is always well-stocked and that customers have access to the products they need.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of workers to ensure that the store runs smoothly and efficiently.
- Conduct performance reviews to help employees identify areas for improvement and develop strategies for growth and development.
