Learning and Development Program Manager

Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Learning and Development Program Manager to join our team at FortisBC. In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team of trainers, training coordinators, and learning management administrators to plan and deliver technical and trades training.
Main Responsibilities
- Support the development of a high-performing training delivery team aligned with corporate values.
- Drive business process improvements to enhance the Learning Management System platform.
- Establish relationships with key stakeholders to identify future training requirements and develop implementation plans.
- Implement technology solutions for training delivery.
- Provide professional development opportunities for trainers.
- Make recommendations for improving the training portfolio based on ongoing evaluation.
Requirements
- Diploma or degree in a relevant field, plus three years of experience leading in an L&D environment.
- Proven leadership skills to foster a supportive team environment.
- Exceptional organization and strategic-thinking skills to manage programming of training across the Company.
- Able to plan and execute training schedules to ensure compliance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with learning management systems an asset.
