Financial Settlements Professional

We are seeking a Senior Securities Settlements Administrator to support our growing wealth management operations sector.
Job OverviewThe successful candidate will be responsible for supporting day-to-day settlement activities for domestic and global transactions placed on behalf of clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Respond to enquiries related to trade settlements, corporate actions, and entitlements.
- Process and facilitate trade settlements for equity and/or fixed income securities.
- Investigate issues related to corporate actions and entitlements.
- Ensure all trades are settled in a timely manner and within regulatory guidelines (CNS and BTB).
- Issue and execute Buy-Ins on failed to receive trades to comply with regulatory requirements.
- Support/Prepare notifications and reporting related to securities transactions to internal stakeholders.
- Investigate and address issues related to settlement of security transaction activities.
- Execute manual transactions into book of record or depository for timely settlement.
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A university/college degree in a related field.
- The ability to prioritize effectively and work efficiently to meet daily deadlines.
- Previous experience in a Settlements role or similar wealth management operations experience.
- Experience working with depository systems such as CDS & DTC.
- Detail-oriented, extremely self-motivated and dedicated, and a good team player.
- Fluency in English (verbal and written).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with MS Office applications.

Compensation and BenefitsThis position offers a competitive salary, estimated to be around $70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience.
