Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Painters Foreman/Woman to join our team at Mountainside Painting Ltd.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate construction projects, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Oversee the work of construction teams, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Recruit, train, and manage construction staff, including apprentices.
  • Coordinate the procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications, applying knowledge of construction techniques and materials.
  • Perform tasks such as painting, wallpapering, and surface preparation, using specialized equipment and techniques.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in construction, with a focus on painting and surface preparation.
  • Proven track record of supervising and coordinating construction projects.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and train construction staff.
  • Knowledge of construction techniques, materials, and equipment, including roller painting, conventional spray painting, and thermal spray equipment.
  • Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in outdoor environments, with exposure to dust, odors, and other hazards.
Working Conditions
  • Work is performed on-site, with occasional travel to various locations.
  • Must be able to lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs) and work in physically demanding environments.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and own transportation.
