Intermediate Accounting Clerk

We are seeking an experienced Intermediate Accounting Clerk to join our team at Barrie Subaru. As an Intermediate Accounting Clerk, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our financial reports.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Process and post vehicle sales, including preparation of sales invoices and credit memos.
  • Prepare daily deposits and remit payments for extended warranties, insurance, and other related expenses.
  • Liaise with managers and staff to provide accounting, budgeting, and financial analysis support.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Requirements
  • University degree or college diploma in accounting, finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of dealership accounting experience.
  • Experience working with dealership management systems, such as PBS.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
