Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Associate Director to join our Client Operations team at MUFG Investor Services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the financial reporting process and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Liaise with investment managers, vendors, and auditors to resolve day-to-day operational issues.
  • Participate in system improvement initiatives to enhance our services.
  • Prepare and review client financial reporting deliverables and associated reports.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of internal and external reports.
  • Develop and improve financial reporting processes and procedures.
  • Assist with department resource planning and staff allocation.
  • Represent the company at pitches, client due diligence meetings, and board/client meetings.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and audit firms.
  • Oversee the creation, preparation, and review of financial statement workings/reports.
  • Develop an understanding of the financial reporting process and assist in creating the target operating model for our clients.
  • Ensure timely invoicing and fee collection.
  • Ensure adherence to operational procedures and controls.
  • Stay up-to-date with applicable accounting standards and regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Manage direct reports, assist in training, and participate in performance reviews.
  • Monitor and manage reporting deadlines for assigned services/clients.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary education in finance, accounting, mathematics, or related fields.
  • Professional qualification in ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or CFA.
  • Demonstrated experience in a financial reporting role.
