Rainbow General Contracting is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Construction Supervisor to oversee our concrete finishing operations. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to take on a leadership role and contribute to the success of our team.

Job Description:
  • The successful candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in a supervisory role within the construction industry, with a focus on concrete finishing.
  • Degree is not required, but applicants should have relevant certifications or training in areas such as health and safety, quality control, and project management.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team of 3-4 workers. They will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of cement finishers and other personnel on site
  • Prepare production reports and ensure accurate documentation of all aspects of the project
  • Estimate costs and materials required for each project
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and recommend personnel actions as necessary
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as required
  • Lead and instruct individuals in their roles and responsibilities

The working conditions are physically demanding, requiring the ability to work under pressure and withstand outdoor temperatures. The successful candidate must also be able to read blueprints and drawings, and possess good communication and problem-solving skills.
