About the Role

1-800-GOT-JUNK? is seeking a highly motivated and physically fit individual to join our team as a Route Driver and Labour Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for operating our Isuzu NPR 17-20 ft trucks to customer locations, lifting and loading unwanted items, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Driving and Navigation: Safely operate our company trucks to customer locations, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Lifting and Loading: Remove unwanted items from customer properties and load them into our trucks, ensuring efficient and safe handling.
  • Customer Service: Provide top-notch customer service, ensuring a positive experience for our clients.
  • Sales and Negotiation: Assess and quote customers on the removal of unwanted items, utilizing our pricing sheets and in-depth training to ensure accurate and transparent pricing.
  • Recycling and Donation: Work with our team to recycle and donate items whenever possible, adhering to local regulations and company policies.
  • Time Management: Effectively manage your time to meet productivity goals, working independently and as part of a team to achieve results.
Requirements
  • Age and Licensing: Be at least 21 years old and possess a valid G driver's license.
  • Driving History: Have a clean driving history, with no major infractions in the past three years.
  • Physical Abilities: Be comfortable lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds repeatedly, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attitude and Reliability: Demonstrate a positive attitude, reliability, and a goal-driven mindset, with a strong commitment to teamwork and customer satisfaction.
