We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef de Partie to join our culinary team at Autograph Collection/Courtyard by Marriott Hotel. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency in our daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement new recipes and menu items to enhance our culinary offerings and drive guest satisfaction.
- Lead and manage a team of junior chefs and cooks to ensure seamless kitchen operations and efficient food preparation.
- Collaborate with our sous chef and executive chef to plan and execute daily menus, specials, and events.
- Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that all food products meet our high standards of quality, safety, and presentation.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations and guidelines.
- Develop and implement effective inventory management systems to minimize waste and optimize food costs.
- Provide exceptional customer service and ensure that all guests receive a high-quality dining experience.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest culinary trends, techniques, and technologies to continuously improve our menu offerings and kitchen operations.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a chef de partie or senior culinary manager in a high-volume hotel or restaurant environment.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality food products and exceptional customer service.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop junior staff members.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures, with the ability to maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
