We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Heavy Duty Cleaning Specialist to join our team at GDI Service (Canada) Ltd. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Disinfecting: Sweep, mop, scrub and wax hallways, floors and stairs, and clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures.
  • Waste Management: Empty trash cans and other waste containers, and operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris and other refuse.
  • Work Environment: Work in a school or educational institution/establishment setting with minimal supervision.

Requirements:

  • Education: No degree, certificate or diploma required.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding work under pressure with repetitive tasks and weight handling up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
