Job Title: Heavy-Duty Cleaner

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Heavy-Duty Cleaner to join our team at GDI Service (Canada) Ltd.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment in our school or educational institution setting. This includes sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and waxing hallways, floors, and stairs, as well as operating industrial vacuum cleaners to remove debris and waste.

Responsibilities
  • Sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs
  • Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris, and other refuse
  • Empty trash cans and other waste containers
  • Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures
  • Work with minimal supervision
Requirements
  • Experience an asset
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Ability to work under pressure and perform repetitive tasks
  • Physically demanding work, including lifting up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
  • Dependability, flexibility, and reliability
Work Environment

This is a physically demanding role that requires working on-site at our school or educational institution location. There is no option to work remotely.
