Job Title: Digital Marketing Coordinator - Event Planner

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Marketing Coordinator - Event Planner to join our team.

Salary Range:

$50,000 - $65,000 per year (dependent on experience).

Job Description:

This is a full-time position with a 40-hour workweek. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing events for publicity, fundraising, and information purposes. They will prepare bibliographies, indexes, reading lists, guides, and other finding aids, as well as produce educational and publicity programs and informational materials. The candidate will also publicize activities, workshops, meetings, and other events for fundraising or information purposes, respond to enquiries from members of the business community concerning development opportunities, conduct surveys and analyze data on buying habits and preferences of wholesale and retail consumers, and conduct comparative research on marketing strategies for industrial and commercial products.

How You Will Contribute:
  1. Develop all types of events for publicity, fundraising, and information purposes;
  2. Prepare bibliographies, indexes, reading lists, guides, and other finding aids;
  3. Produce educational and publicity programs and informational materials;
  4. Publicize activities, workshops, meetings, and other events for fundraising or information purposes;
  5. Respond to enquiries from members of the business community concerning development opportunities;
  6. Conduct surveys and analyze data on buying habits and preferences of wholesale and retail consumers;
  7. Conduct comparative research on marketing strategies for industrial and commercial products;
  8. Act as spokesperson for an organization;
  9. Advise clients on advertising or sales promotion strategies;
  10. Assist in the preparation of brochures, reports, newsletters, and other material;
  11. Co-ordinate special publicity events and promotions;
  12. Conduct social or economic surveys on local, regional, or international areas to assess development of potential and future trends;
  13. Consult with clients after sale to provide ongoing support;

About the Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate will have a degree in a related field, such as marketing or communications, and at least one year of experience in a similar role. They will possess excellent communication and project management skills, and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. They will also be proficient in using software applications, such as Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
