Job Title: Pipe Fitter - Environmental Preservation Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Pipe Fitter to join our team at FIRST CHOICE MAINTENANCE INC. as an Environmental Preservation Specialist.

About the Role:

This is a unique opportunity to work in a green job that contributes to environmental preservation, conservation, and restoration. As a Pipe Fitter, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing pipes and pipe systems in various settings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing
  • Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine layout of plumbing system, water supply network, and waste and drainage systems
  • Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, or soldering, brazing, and welding equipment
  • Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges
