Job Description

This role is an excellent opportunity for a registered practical nurse to utilize their skills in travel medicine. As a Travel Health Specialist, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and vaccinations to clients traveling abroad.

Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize comprehensive knowledge of travel medicine to provide high-quality care to clients
  • Administer vaccinations and medications safely and efficiently
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and health information
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date on the latest developments in travel medicine
Requirements
  • Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) certification with current license in good standing
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Familiarity with medical directives and regulations
Working Conditions
  • Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals
  • Intermittent physical activity including walking, standing, sitting, lifting, and supporting patients
  • Must be available to work Monday - Saturday (30 - 40 hours/week) (8 - 12 hour shifts)
Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this role is approximately $70,000 per year, based on location and experience. Additional benefits include paid lunch breaks, flexible hours, professional advancement opportunities, and comprehensive orientation and paid training.
