Job Title: Machinist

We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our team at Quality Machine Works Ltd. As a Machinist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various machine tools and equipment to produce high-quality parts and products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate production.
  • Operate and maintain machine tools, such as boring machines, drill presses, and milling machines, to produce parts and products.
  • Set up and adjust production equipment to ensure optimal performance and quality.
  • Verify dimensions of products using precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy and conformance to specifications.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machine tools and equipment to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or machine shop environment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work accurately.
