We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our team at Quality Machine Works Ltd. As a Machinist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various machine tools and equipment to produce high-quality products.

Work Setting

Our manufacturing facility is a fast-paced environment where you will work with a team to meet tight deadlines and produce products to close tolerance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables to understand production requirements.
  • Operate and maintain machine tools, including boring machines, drill presses, engine lathes, and milling machines.
  • Set up and adjust production machinery and tools to ensure accurate and efficient production.
  • Verify dimensions of products using precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy and conformance to specifications.
  • Repair and maintain machine tools and parts to ensure optimal performance.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work accurately.
