About the Opportunity

WSP Canada is seeking a highly skilled Intermediate CAD Design Specialist to join our Infrastructure department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for applying your expertise in Civil 3D to deliver high-quality project work from conceptual design through to completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D knowledge to create detailed engineering drawings and designs
  • Prepare and review technical documents to ensure compliance with industry standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide design assistance and support
  • Develop and maintain accurate earthworks models and other project-related data
  • Perform other duties as assigned or required to support the success of the team
Requirements
  • Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology or Engineering Design and Drafting
  • 5-9 years of experience in AutoCAD drafting and design, with a strong focus on Civil 3D
  • Experience working on-site is considered an asset
  • Strong knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D software and its applications
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
