Auberge du Pommier is a cozy wine bar in the heart of Halifax's Queen's Marque district, offering a unique blend of wine and seasonal, tapas-style plates. Our team is passionate about providing an exceptional dining experience, and we're looking for a skilled Dishwasher to join our Back of House team.

Job Description

As a Dishwasher, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our dish area and dish machines. This includes operating dishwashers efficiently, washing and polishing glassware and flatware, and assisting with receiving and stocking supplies.

Responsibilities

  • Operate dishwashers to ensure efficient cleaning and sanitizing of glassware and flatware.
  • Wash and polish all glassware and flatware to a high standard.
  • Assist with receiving and stocking supplies, including cleaning products and equipment.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the dish area and dish machines.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Back of House Management Team.

Requirements

  • Previous experience working in a dishwasher role or similar environment is an asset.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work calmly under pressure.
  • Self-motivated and organized, with the ability to multi-task.
  • Able to spend 100% of the time standing.
