About the Role:

The Market Insight & Commercial Strategy Analyst plays a key role within the commercial strategy team at Belron Canada. This position requires a unique blend of technical expertise and deep business knowledge to transform available data into actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain new reports according to established requirements, making data available to various business partners.
  • Systematically gather, analyze, and report information using a variety of internal and external sources to meet the organization's intelligence needs.
  • Document and deepen competitive intelligence and market research needs.
  • Analyze company performance, providing insights and recommendations based on sales and external data.
  • Bridge company performance with market information to support commercial decision-making.
  • Manage and maintain pricing, addressing operational needs related to tariffs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or Information Management.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in data intelligence or data science, including building and analyzing large datasets to solve business problems.
  • Excellent knowledge and experience with Transact-SQL or another SQL language.
  • Familiarity with report-building tools such as PowerBI and the DAX language.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Strong knowledge of the R language.
  • Understanding of data extraction and compilation methodologies via applications or protocols such as APIs, web services, packages, etc.
  • Advanced statistical aptitude is an asset.
