Job Title: Floor Covering Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Floor Covering Specialist to join our team at THE CARPET FACTORY. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for installing a variety of floor coverings, including carpet, hardwood, and resilient flooring.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and measure surfaces to be covered
  • Measure, cut, and fasten underlay and underpadding
  • Prepare flooring plans and scheduling
  • Install carpeting on floors, walls, and other surfaces
  • Remove existing floor coverings and contaminants
  • Conduct moisture, pH, temperature, and other tests prior to flooring installations
  • Estimate costs and materials
  • Prepare floors for installations
Requirements:
  • 5 years or more of experience in the field
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift heavy loads and work in a physically demanding environment
