At THE CARPET FACTORY, we are seeking a skilled Flooring Specialist to join our team. As a Flooring Specialist, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining various types of flooring, including hardwood, carpet, and resilient flooring.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and measure surfaces to be covered
  • Measure, cut, and fasten underlay and underpadding
  • Prepare flooring plans and scheduling
  • Install carpeting on floors, walls, and other surfaces
  • Perform direct glue-down carpet installations and double-bond carpet installations
  • Install outdoor carpets and resilient stair components
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications
Requirements:
  • 5 years or more of experience in flooring installation
  • Ability to work on-site and in various locations
  • Valid driver's license and own transportation
  • Ability to distinguish between colors and hand-eye coordination
  • Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, and judgment
