Occupational Therapist Wanted

RT Medical is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing clinical professional practice and contributing to the delivery of rehabilitation services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide OT services, assessing physical, psychological, perceptual, cognitive, vocational, and functional status through administration of formal and informal assessments.
  • Formulate and implement individualized client-centered goals based on analysis and assessment findings.
  • Provide suggestions for adaptive equipment as required for patients who need support.
  • Recommend strategies to facilitate safety and maximize function within the patient's environment.
  • Help patients who struggle with functional independence in areas such as self-care, productivity, and leisure to maximize patient quality of life.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized University or equivalent.
  • Registration and good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario.
  • Membership in the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists is an asset.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience.
