Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to fill the role of Assistant Supervisor Child Protection with the Government of Saskatchewan. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising, managing, and implementing child protection programs designed to provide protective, preventative, and support services to children and their families.

Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise and train Child Protection workers to ensure high-quality care and practice.
• Develop and implement treatment plans to meet the physical, social, psychological, and educational needs of children in care.
• Participate in the supervisory team, demonstrating a supervisory style that encourages employees to achieve success in their work.
• Lead the implementation of child protection policies, procedures, services, and community resources.
• Collaborate with supervisors, colleagues, and the regional management team to improve or enhance service delivery to children and their families.

Requirements:
• A Bachelor of Social Work or an equivalent Social Work degree from an accredited university as approved by the CASW, CASWE, and SASW.
• Demonstrated knowledge of child protection policies and procedures, including application of family-centered case management practices.
• Extensive experience in Child Protective Services.
