Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Early Childhood Education Program Coordinator to join our team at Regina Eastview Daycare Inc.

About the Role

This is a dynamic opportunity for an individual who is passionate about early childhood education and has experience working with children and staff in a daycare setting.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children.

Responsibilities
  • Bathing, diapering and feeding infants and toddlers
  • Developing and implementing child-care programs
  • Telling stories, teaching songs and taking children to local points of interest
  • Supervising staff, trainees or volunteers
  • Assisting early childhood educators in carrying out programs
  • Leading activities and preparing crafts
  • Encouraging children to express creativity through art, dramatic play, music and physical activity
Requirements
  • Degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or related field
  • Child Development Assistant (ECE level 1), Child Development Supervisor (ECE level 3) or Child Development Worker (ECE level 2) certification
  • First Aid and CPR certification
  • Experience working with children with special needs
