Human Resources/Talent Acquisition COOP Opportunity

Phasor Engineering Inc., a dynamic Alberta-based company, is seeking a highly motivated Human Resources/Talent Acquisition COOP to join our team in Calgary. As a key member of our HR team, you will play a vital role in supporting the implementation of corporate Human Resources programs and policies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and maintain employee files, ensuring all documents are complete and compliant.
  • Enter new employee information into digital and hardcopy formats, creating new employee folders and records as needed.
  • Arrange employee file contents by date.
  • Respond to HR-related inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Assist in recruitment and onboarding processes, including job fairs and university co-op programs.
  • Support the HR team in implementing corporate Human Resources programs and policies.
  • Provide basic HR advice to management on policy and process matters.
Requirements:
  • Third or fourth-year student registered with a Canadian college or university.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office software suite and strong computer skills.
  • Strong analytical, risk assessment, and problem-solving skills.
