Job Summary:
Federated Co-operatives Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Agro Manager to join our team. As a key member of our agro site operations, you will play a critical role in supporting and adding strategic value to our business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and support fertilizer, seed, chemical sales, and equipment sales to drive business growth and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure the achievement of operational goals and sales targets through effective leadership and team management.
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships to drive loyalty and retention.
- Identify and pursue growth and expansion opportunities to increase revenue and market share.
- Lead farm marketing promotions and customer events to enhance brand awareness and customer engagement.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will require a strong agricultural background with 5+ years of proven industry sales experience and 3+ years of experience leading a team of professional/technical staff. A post-secondary diploma or degree in Ag specializing in Agronomy or Plant Sciences, along with SIA membership, is considered an asset. A combination of education and experience will be considered.
