Job Title: Transportation Engineering Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Transportation Engineering Manager to lead our Transportation Engineering team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a team of transportation engineers and technicians, overseeing project delivery, and ensuring that all deliverables meet the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage and lead a team of transportation engineers and technicians to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget.
  2. Develop and implement project plans, including resource allocation, timelines, and budgets.
  3. Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure project success.
  4. Provide technical guidance and support to team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver projects.
  5. Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating risks and issues as they arise.
  6. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure ongoing business growth and development.
  7. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements to ensure the team is equipped to deliver high-quality projects.
Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field.
  2. 15+ years of experience in transportation engineering, including supervisory/management experience.
  3. Licensed as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in the Province of Ontario or eligible to be licensed within six (6) months of employment.
  4. Past design experience with MTO Highways.
  5. Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
  7. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines.
What We Offer:

We offer a competitive compensation package, comprehensive benefits, and merit-based bonuses for performance and tenure. Salary will be commensurate with experience and ranges from $110,000 - $160,000.

This position is located in either Peterborough or Bancroft, Ontario, with hybrid work options available.
