Job Title: Transportation Engineering Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Transportation Engineering Manager to join our team at Wills Associates Limited. As a key member of our Transportation Engineering Department, you will be responsible for leading multiple projects from inception to completion, providing project management and engineering services, and participating in business initiatives related to the Transportation Engineering Department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage project schedules, controls, and budgets.
  • Coordinate with engineering, design teams, and other professionals.
  • Lead the project team, including subcontractors and consultants.
  • Conduct site inspections and review technical reports.
  • Mentor junior staff and liaise with contacts.
  • Participate in business development and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Stamp and sign engineering drawings and reports.
Requirements:
  • Degree in civil engineering, with 5+ years of related Transportation experience.
  • Licensed as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng) in the Province of Ontario or eligible to be licensed within six (6) months of employment.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in project management.
  • Solid understanding of engineering theory, concepts, and regulations.
  • Experienced in the development and management of staff and project teams.
  • Strong interpersonal relationship skills for effective collaboration with team members, government officials, agencies, and contractors.
  • Must hold, or be eligible to obtain, an Ontario G class driver's license.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
