About the Job

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Apprentice Electrician to join our team at Titan Electrical Contracting. As an Apprentice Electrician, you will be responsible for assisting our experienced electricians with various tasks, including installing electrical controls and panel boxes, replacing and repairing electrical controls and panel boxes, and troubleshooting and isolating faults.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the installation of electrical controls and panel boxes
  • Replace and repair electrical controls and panel boxes
  • Troubleshoot and isolate faults in electrical systems
  • Perform maintenance tasks, including keeping maintenance reports and documentation
  • Design and construct single-phase and multiphase services for single or multimeter installations
  • Test and measure voltage, loads, and ground faults integrity of circuits
  • Connect power to audio and visual equipment
  • Install surface mount and/or overhead cables
  • Install power generation, stand-by power generation, and power conditioning systems
  • Ground and bond electrical equipment, systems, and structures, including swimming pools and hot tubs
  • Renovate electrical systems in residential and commercial structures
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications
Requirements
  • Registered Apprenticeship certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in the electrical trade
  • Valid driver's license
  • Own transportation
  • First Aid Certificate
  • CPR Certificate
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of physical activity. The ability to work at heights and in confined spaces is also required.
