**Job Summary**:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The Maintenance Person will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities. This position requires strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment.

Working in hotel maintenance, you are responsible for keeping the hotel maintained and fixing any errors that are needed. This can include putting in new carpets in guest rooms, repairing holes in walls, changing settings on cooling and heating equipment, putting new light bulbs in the hotel's outdoor lamps and performing general cleaning tasks inside and outside the hotel's building. Other hotel maintenance duties and responsibilities include repainting walls, fixing broken furniture, fixing minor electrical issues and making faucets stop leaking.

You can expect physically demanding work that includes using tools and equipment and moving around much of the day, including having to climb ladders, lift heavy items and crawl in tight spaces when necessary.

As a hotel maintenance worker, your job duties are to provide preventive maintenance checklists and schedules and inspect and repair various energy systems, such as the heating and cooling systems, pool requirements and chemicals, plumbing, lighting, and kitchen equipment.

This position is scheduled for 4 hours per day minimum depending on volume of business in hotel. These hours per day are flexible as well.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct routine inspections of facilities and equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks in hotel rooms and on hotel equipment
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely, professional manner
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on hotel equipment
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using a PMS (Property Management System)
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects and tasks
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in hotel maintenance or a related field an asset
- Strong mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent customer service skills

**Requirements**:

- Proficient in English (both written and verbal)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as needed
