To support the production departments (control, distribution, reactor and potted assembly) by supplying transformer coils as required by production loads.

**Key Activities**:

- Select winding kit to work on based on schedule or as determined by team lead or supervisor
- Review winding kit to ensure proper & adequate materials have been provided or are available
- Based on winding order spec, select & load wire and set-up TPC winding machine
- Based on winding order spec load appropriate winding program or ask team lead to create one
- All coils must be wound according to specs. Deviations must be pre-approved by manufacturing engineering
- Run 1st off samples to verify equipment set-up before running complete job
- Perform ratio tests on all 1st off coils and additionally as specified in Ratio/Polarity SPI
- Ensure finished coils fall within all dimensions & tolerances as specified on spec/drawings

- Based on winding order spec load appropriate winding program or ask team lead to create one
- All coils must be wound according to specs. Deviations must be pre-approved by manufacturing engineering
- Run 1st off samples to verify equipment set-up before running complete job
- Perform ratio tests on all 1st off coils and additionally as specified in Ratio/Polarity SPI
- Always perform the ratio tests as specified for each 1st of coil or additionally as spec requires
- Always verify parts are correct as per the specs or drawings
- Notify QA of any quality issues using the appropriate process and forms

**Qualifications**:

- High School (Grade 12)
- Education in Manufacturing or Electrical Principals would be an asset
