Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Sales Growth Specialist to join our Hamilton-based sales team. The ideal candidate will possess experience in the solid waste services industry and be able to identify new sales opportunities while fostering strong relationships with existing clients. This role involves presenting our services to potential customers, collaborating with our marketing team, and providing accurate sales forecasts.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively seek out and pursue new business opportunities to drive sales growth.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with current and prospective customers.
- Present our services to potential clients, highlighting their benefits and features.
- Work closely with the marketing team to develop targeted sales strategies and promotional campaigns.
- Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts and reports to the management team.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments.
- Foster continuous product knowledge to address customer inquiries and concerns effectively.
Requirements
- A minimum of one year's experience in outside sales, preferably in a B2B environment.
- Previous experience in sales roles, particularly in industries related to construction, waste management, or similar fields.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- The ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent negotiation and closing skills.
- A self-motivated and target-driven individual.
- Willingness to travel for business purposes as required.
