About the Role

HUB International Ontario Limited is seeking a skilled Personal Insurance Account Manager to join our team in Windsor, Ontario. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing an existing book of business, handling client queries, and ensuring new business and retention targets are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of an existing book of business, including client relationships and sales growth.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to client queries and resolving concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Identify and pursue cross-selling opportunities, and obtain referrals from satisfied clients.
  • Upsell existing clients, and place regular touch-base calls to maintain strong relationships.
  • Conduct proactive mid-renewal calls to review customer information and provide advice.
  • Input and update customer data, and document all customer interactions.
  • Maintain accurate accounts receivable and underwriting knowledge of each market, utilizing portals for policy changes and inquiries.
  • Assist in training junior team members, and provide guidance and support as needed.
  • Rate and quote new and renewal personal lines risks, and stay up-to-date on industry best practices and company procedures.

Qualifications and Expertise

  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 2-3 years' experience in the insurance industry, preferably within Personal Lines.
  • RIBO license required.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently, with exceptional interpersonal skills.
  • Effective organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products (Word and Excel).
  • Experience with EPIC broker management system an asset.
