Nurse Practitioner, Complex Malignant Hematology Programs

The University Health Network is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our Complex Malignant Hematology Team. As a key member of our interprofessional team, you will provide expert care to patients with complex malignant hematology conditions, including leukemia, lymphoma, and myeloma.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive care to patients with complex malignant hematology conditions, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the interprofessional team.
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop strategies to address them.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in research and education activities to stay current with best practices and advance the field of hematology and oncology.
- Current College of Nurses of Ontario Registration in the Extended Class (EC) as a Nurse Practitioner.
- Completion of a Master's degree in a relevant field.
- Demonstrated expertise as a Nurse Practitioner, preferably in hematology and oncology.
- Up to five (5) years of relevant experience, including three (3) years of experience working in malignant hematology.
- Certification in Oncology Nursing, preferred or commitment to obtain certification when eligible.
- Current certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support.
