Job Title: Food Service Team Lead

Sarocemas Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Team Lead to join our team in a fast-paced environment.

This is a permanent full-time position working 30-40 hours per week, offering competitive salary and benefits package.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will oversee the day-to-day operations of our food service department, ensuring exceptional customer service and high-quality culinary experiences.

This involves supervising and coordinating activities of staff who prepare and portion food, training staff on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, estimating ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, and maintaining records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.

You will also be responsible for preparing and submitting reports, addressing customers' complaints or concerns, and ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure efficient workflow.
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, including training on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation and maintain accurate records.
  • Prepare and submit reports on sales, stock, and other relevant metrics.
  • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality, culinary arts, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a supervisory role within the food service industry.
  • Proven track record of excellent customer service and team leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects, and perform manual labor tasks.
Compensation:

We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
