Senior RPG Developer

IT Unlock is seeking a highly skilled Senior RPG Developer to join our team. As a Senior RPG Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and documenting business system software.

In your day-to-day, you will be responsible for:
- Following methodologies for all projects, keeping in mind industry coding standards and best practices
- Assisting in the design, development, testing, and maintenance of software systems
- Performing various levels of testing to ensure correctness of software systems using automated and manual testing
- Participating in code reviews and working closely with QA to perform test plan reviews
- Proactively managing client expectations, concerns, and/or questions
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or College degree in Software Development or related program
- 10+ years of experience with IBMi (iSeries, AS/400), DB2 database, and RPGLE language
- Experience using embedded SQL within RPG and data modernization tools
- Recent programming and analysis experience in AS/400, iSeries, RPGILE, Free format RPGLE, SQL
- Advanced DB2 SQL Programming
- Effective communication with all levels of employees and management
- Eligibility to work in North America
Given the daily interactions required with colleagues and/or clients who are mainly located outside Quebec, this role requires fluency in English.
