Quality Assurance Specialist

As a Quality Assurance Specialist at avua, you will play a key role in ensuring the highest standards of quality in our projects. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement quality control processes and procedures that meet or exceed client requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement quality control plans, including testing methods, tools, and equipment.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of project sites, materials, and processes to identify quality issues.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and construction teams to establish quality assurance benchmarks and performance indicators.
- Review and approve project documentation, including quality control plans, test reports, and compliance certificates.
- Conduct quality training and workshops for project teams and subcontractors.
- Monitor and analyze quality performance metrics, including defect rates, rework percentages, and customer satisfaction scores.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
To succeed as a Quality Assurance Specialist at avua, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Bachelor's degree in civil, electrical, or mechanical engineering, urban planning, or a closely related field.
- At least 8 years of experience in quality assurance and quality control, demonstrating strong project management and quality oversight skills.
- In-depth knowledge of quality assurance and quality control principles, methodologies, and regulatory requirements applicable to the energy sector.
- Familiarity with quality management systems, ISO standards, and industry-specific quality certifications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex quality data and provide effective solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, clients, and stakeholders.
