Job Summary

The Quality Technician will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products and maintaining a safe working environment. This includes participating in quality system monitoring and audits, managing process analysis of semifinished products, and maintaining quality programs in accordance with current standards and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Quality control and assurance: Participate in quality system monitoring and audits, manage process analysis of semifinished products, and maintain quality programs in accordance with current standards and customer requirements.
  • Human resources management: Promote and assist employees in complying with health and safety requirements.
  • Other related duties: Carry out various related tasks linked to certifications, ensure the application of and compliance with HACCP standards for the maintenance of the food safety and sanitation program, and maintain a clean and safe work area.

Requirements

  • Technical degree in food processing or dietetics (or related field)
  • 3 to 5 years' experience in a similar position
  • Experience in the manufacturing industry (an asset)
  • Experience in food processing (an asset)
  • Excellent French (spoken and written)
  • Good computer skills essential (Windows environment)
  • Attention to detail and thoroughness in work
