Job Title: Welder - Gas Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Welder - Gas Specialist to join our team at Wolf Innovations Inc. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for welding metal parts and products using gas welding techniques.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in gas welding, with experience in operating manual or semi-automatic welding equipment. You will be responsible for interpreting welding process specifications, reading and interpreting blueprints, and ensuring that welds meet standards and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret welding process specifications and ensure that welds meet standards and specifications
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment, including gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW) and gas metal arc welding (GMAW)
  • Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, and manuals
  • Examine welds and ensure that they meet quality standards
  • Operate oxygen arc cutting equipment (arc-air) and determine weldability of materials
  • Weld metal parts and products using gas welding techniques
Requirements:
  • 5 years or more of experience in gas welding
  • Other trades certificate or diploma
  • English or French language proficiency
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced industrial environment
