Registered Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit at Fraser Health Authority. As a Registered Nurse in this unit, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to individuals with complex cardiac conditions.
Key Responsibilities- Assessment and Planning: Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify their needs and develop individualized care plans.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with the interprofessional care team, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive care planning and delivery.
- Care Coordination: Coordinate patient care, prioritize tasks, and delegate responsibilities to support staff as needed.
- Education and Support: Teach patients and families about illness prevention, health restoration, and health maintenance to promote self-care and independence.
- Documentation and Reporting: Accurately document patient assessments, care plans, and outcomes in accordance with practice standards and Fraser Health procedures.
- Education and Experience: Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
- Skills and Abilities: Demonstrated clinical proficiency in the designated clinical area, ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams, and ability to promote person-centered care.
